Incident Alert categorises between small and larger fires. Keep safe by knowing about larger fires impacting your region well before they reach you. 

Receive timely SMS messages to fires in your area. A link in the SMS will allow you to continue to check the progress of the fire if your phone is web-enabled.

Customise your alerts and locations to protect your family and property.Each community is subtly different and we allow you to modify the alerts depending on the season, location and personal situation.

Changes to alert set-ups

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Victoria is currently modfying their regions and we have altered the way alerts are processed.

The CFA will shortly be realigning the boundaries of some of their regions and while most locations will not change, there are a few already identified. The changes appear to be implemented gradually with some of the smaller realignments occurring sooner.

  In order to accommodate these change, we have made a change to street and town alerts. Prior to this change, the region had to match for these alerts to work. We now match only on street, town and state.

 In south Australia, this will cause an issue only with Salt Creek. Subscribers to Salt Creek will receive both locations and any subscriber who feels they could be affected should contact us.
